Cox as the new CEO of the organization effective February 1, 2011.  Mr. Cox's appointment follows a nationwide search for a CEO. The Washington Home & Community Hospices, headquartered in northwest Washington, D.C., has provided healthcare services to aging and terminally ill area residents since 1888.

Untitled document (WASHINGTON, D.C. – January 7, 2011) Two senior staff at The Washington Home & Community Hospices (TWH&CH), Washington’s premier hospice provider, will lead sessions at the Annual Assembly co-sponsored by the American Academy of Hospice & Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) and the Hospice & Palliative Care Nurses Association (HPNA) to be held February 16-19 in Vancouver, BC, Canada.  HPNA is the nation’s largest and oldest professional nursing organization dedicated to promoting excellence in hospice and palliative nursing care.
