Residents and patients of The Washington Home enjoy a quiet, residential neighborhood in Northwest Washington, DC., beautiful outdoor patios, gardens and visiting areas, and our facility's modern, resident-friendly design and architecture. Private, brightly lit, spacious rooms are essential to our residents' and patients' quality of life and independence. We encourage residents to bring their personal belongings so they can truly make The Washington Home their home.

The Washington Home employs qualified, knowledgeable, long-term care professionals. Interdisciplinary Teams include: physicians; nurse practitioners; registered nurses; licensed practical nurses; certified nursing assistants; chaplains; social workers; rehabilitation therapists; hospice and palliative care specialists; activities specialists and volunteers. Our teams focus on the medical, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our residents and patients. Our affiliations with local hospitals and healthcare facilities enable us to effectively address the more acute care needs of our residents.

Activities for our residents and patients include: Jazz Concerts; field trips to museums and shopping malls; book clubs; crafts; gardening; seminars; spiritual services; visits with therapy dogs; holiday celebrations; fashion shows; bingo (by popular demand) and more.
