Spring is here—new beginnings, new goals, new opportunities! Here at The Washington Home & Community Hospices, we're honored to continue providing quality end-of-life care and we're excited to explore all of the new ways we can be a better community pillar for you and your loved ones.
Research shows that nearly 90% of seniors want to live out the rest of their days in the places where they feel most comfortable – their homes. And with our newly expanding focus on hospice care, we’re restructuring our services to better meet the needs of our community.
We visit more than a hundred patients each week throughout the four quadrants of our nation’s capital and in the Maryland counties of Prince Georges and Montgomery. Every week, we’re serving and connecting directly with you, your parents, your grandparents, your neighbors, your friends, and even your friends’ neighbors. We know what you want and need because you’ve told us; and we’re re-engineering our programs and efforts so that we can better honor your wishes.
Our hospice programs have been key in providing quality comfort care to our seriously ill patients and their families whom we serve, including our one-of-a-kind charitable initiative, the Hospice Caregivers’ Relief Program. But I won’t overload you with information about all of our programs, resources, and services in this post. We have many more seasons to delve into those details.
Wishing you all a very sunny Spring season!.
Let the blooms begin...
